Hannah started dancing at the young age of 2. Dancing for Dorethy Stephens school of dance, moving onto Susan Glover Stage School and then to Karen Binns Stage School.

It was whilst dancing for Miss Karen that Hannah developed her passion for the art, not only for performing but for helping others progress. She decided from a young age that she wanted to follow in her teachers footsteps and become a dance teacher, the ultimate goal being having her own Stage school.

Hannah has starred in many stage productions including "The Wizard of Oz", "Thoroughly Modern Millie", "The Factory Children" and the stage production of "High School Musical".

Hannah took her teaching career abroad when in her early years of teaching, going over to Italy to teach in dance schools there.

Here she learnt how to adapt her methods of teaching to make the classes accessible for everyone and with a language barrier this is no easy feat!

In 2018 Hannah moved from Huddersfield, West Yorkshire, where she had grown up and started her dance journey, moving to rural Northumberland.

In February 2019 Hannah opened HANNAH LUCY STAGE SCHOOL in Haltwhistle, Northumberland.

The school flourished, even through covid times, and has grown exponentially in size.

Today HLSS has almost 100 students from the age of 2 upwards and is growing in size and styles all the time.

Hannah is constantly updating her own skill set in order to offer the most up to date classes that she can! The most recent training for Hannah has been the Aerial courses and soon, Fire manipulation and movement!
